Dinner!

So my parents are gone for the next few days.... they were gone last night as well. So Chris was going to come over after his classes and we were going to watch a movie. Well I was going to get out of class early so I thought, why not make dinner... it'll save money and plus it'll be fun and it'll be a surprise to Chris!! So between my brakes I called Marie and Cassie to have them help me think of something to cook. I decided I was going to do pasta and chicken. So I bought some angel hair pasta, Alfredo sauce, vegies, stuff to make fruit dip and salad!! I got home and, well I've never cooked chicken before so I called Grammie to ask her how to cook it! She helped me out lots!! So I cooked the chicken, cooked the noodles and the sauce. I made the fruit dip, mixed the salad and steamed the vegies! Well I got done a little sooner then I thought, but Chris came over and we had a great dinner! It turned out real yummy and was a great experience for me! One day I will make some way yummy food for my family!! Can't wait for that day!!! :) So yes, dinner was a success and I plan on making more dinners in the near future!!

school

school stinks! I am absolutely hating it this semester! idk if its because I'm just SO busy with it or if its starting to get harder or what... but it stinks! My art class is fun, but i'm terrible at drawing and whatever else! ugh! And english.. don't even get me started! Last night I had to write a exploratory essay... i HATED it. My brain doesn't work that way. I can write, obviously, but not the way my teacher wanted me to. I had a total freak out, probably because the day as a whole was kinda crappy, with not feeling good all day, then having to go to school, stressing abt a quiz i was going to miss (but luckily got to take after class!) and then my dang english assignment, I was on the verge of tears when who came to my rescue... my mom and chris!! Hehe... well my mom helped me with writing it! She's so great! I don't know what i'd do without her! And even though Chris wasn't there physically, he was texting me helping encourage me and keep me motivated! He's such a sweetheart! He knows exactly how to make me smile! I got my english paper done, finally at 11 pm, a good 2 hours after I wanted to go to bed! But it is done. Lets hope I get a good grade on it! I'm stickin it thru this dang class!! Once its over it'll be over FOREVER! YEAH!! haha!

tube socks

OK, so I have this new obsession! TUBE SOCKS! I absolutely love them! Ha! I only have a few colors right now, but don't you worry, in the next month or two I will have every color available!! WOO! Haha!! They are seriously the most comfortable things ever! I love them! They keep my legs warm, they are WAY sweet... aka the different colors like so...
You can wear them with anything.. they are an accessory that should not be forgotten! They were hip back in the day, and I am totally going to bring them back!! Tube socks and chucks or tennies! What else could you ask for in life really!! Oh how I LOVE my tube socks! Now I just gotta find crobby some that go up to his knee... seeing as he's a big larger then me, my knee lengths are abt calf highs to him haha!! :) Well get him some soon enough!!
But yes, that is my new obsession... tube socks!

Weekend adventures!

WoW! What a weekend I had! It was a blast! :) You wanna hear about it? Ok! haha!
So Friday clearly went to work, after I got off work I went over to Chris's because he was lucky and got to take the day off. So we hung out at his house with his mom, then we went to the Real Soccer game with Katie, Ryan and the kids!! We took trax up to the stadium which was a blast! Kyron and Colton were super excited to get to ride the train! Ha! We actually took the wrong train, so we had to get off, get back on and then get off and on again to be on the right train that would take us up to the U! haha!! Can you tell none of us ride trax often at all. Ha!! The game was super fun, after the Real played they had a Policeman vs. Fireman soccer game... little did we know Ryan long lost basketball buddy Heber was there! Ryan didn't hesitate to call out to Heber to say hi... while he was in the middle of the game! haha! After the game we were waiting for the train and noticed that we were right by Channel 2 new station... so, being the cool ppl we are we went over to where they were taping the news and jumped up and down behind them. Yep, we were on tv! haha!! Then Katie and Ryan got on the train and headed home while Chris and I walked down to the Tav for Brenda's going away party. It was a blast but we will sure miss Brenda. We'll def have to plan a trip down to Cali to visit her!
Saturday I had to work in the morning for a few hours, and then I went home and cleaned my room! Yep I actually fit ALL my clothes into my closet... not an easy task I might add. Then I headed over to Chris's to watch the Utah and BYU games... both very good games, and we won both!! WOO!!! But BYU still is better then Utah! haha!! :) After the games we went to see The House Bunny... SO funny!! Way good show haha!! And that was our relaxing Saturday!
Sunday I went to church, after being SUPER tired... I only made it through sacrament, I would have fallen asleep in my car had I stayed the rest of the time! haha! Then I went home and slept! Oh how good it felt to sleep for a few hours! I then proceeded to watch my favorite Sunday tv station... WETV... haha!! Then I watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with my mom. It was on ABCFamily... haha!! What we love our old school disney movies! Then I went over to Chris's house and we made peach cobbler in the dutch oven, in the oven ha!!! Brynn came over and enjoyed the lovely cobbler with us! While the cobbler was cooking we hung out on his porch and listened to the rain.. it was a bit chilly so we all had blankets wrapped around us, but it was so nice to be outside and listen to and smell the rain! While we ate our yummy dessert we looked at puppies on demand and decided that we wanted to go to the Humane Society the next day! ha! It was a lot of fun to have Brynn there hanging out with us!!
Monday was Labor day so guess what I did... I SLEPT IN!!!! I don't think I've slept in for week... actually I know I haven't! Working everyday including saturday mornings + having early church... its a killer! So it was nice to sleep in finally! I got ready and headed over to Chris's once I had woken up. After that we went to go get me new front tires. I needed them WAY bad... 2 year old tires = not good! haha!! We got to the place Chris usually goes but it was closed! Dang it! Then we went to the mall... we really just went to look, but he ended up buying a shirt and I bought me a new purse... Brynn and Chris named it Cow. ha! So we went to the mall and Brynn met us there so we could go to the Humane Society. At the Humane Society we saw the cutest little doggies!! There were a few small dogs but mostly there were big dogs. They were SO cute! Both Brynn and Chris now want a dog WAY bad!! I think Chris wants a pit bull more now then ever before! ha!! After we looked at the puppies we took Brynn back to her car and we headed over to see if another tire place was open. And sure enough firestone was!! Yeah! It was abt time I got new tires!! AND they were on sale!! So it was def a good day to get tires!! :) After we got my tires done we headed up to Park City to go to dinner... it was our 3 month anniversary !! :) We went to bandits and it was SO good!! Best BBQ I think I've ever had! it was delicious!! After dinner we wanted to go walk down main street... but it was SO cold! Because it had rain all night and in the morning it was probably in the 50s. Well I decided I wanted to buy a hoodie... but then I ended up just buying a new black hat! YEAH! I've needed one since I "lost" mine back in May. We then visited the wonderful Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and got us a yummy carmel apple! After that we drove back home and got a movie to watch. And then we went to bed! All in all I had a wonderful weekend! I absolutely love spending time with not only my boyfriend but my best friend! We just have so much fun together and its just so natural and exciting and fun and there is never any pressure to impress or anything like that! I know he loves me and he knows I love him! And neither of us would ever change anything abt the other! It is seriously the BEST relationship ever! :) So that was our labor day weekend adventures, joined with friends, family, fun and each other! I plan on having many more wonderful weekend adventures with Crobby and look forward to them!
Now back to school and work and no sleeping in :oS ugh! I think 3 day weekends should ALWAYS happen! ha!

oranges and bananas

so i am deathly bored at work right now. Just want to sleep i'm so bored! ha!
I have someone coming in for an interview at noon, a girl was supposed to come in yesterday but didn't. I was a bit disappointed, because we REALLY need someone to start working saturdays! Because I HATE it! And I need a day to sleep in! Ha! And plus saturday is my only day to do anything... laundry, clean my room, sleep in, go do something fun for once! ha! so ya... oh and if anyone knows of anyone looking for a part time job, nights and saturdays send them my way and i'll interview them! Its just hard doing the work of three ppl when the other 2 ppl should be doing their work right but don't... ugh! Real frustrating! Anyways... lets see what else is new? Steph is having a good time in DC, I miss her lots tho. Could have used her to play with yesterday. I'm going to do a list of 100s. I say this on this girls page, it was pretty cool. Well Stephie is gone... I cried all last night after I left her house, cried on my way home from crobs, and then cried on my way to work! ha!! Yep a little bit o f a mess! But I just have to think of it as Steph is going away for school... she'll be back in Jan! And I'm going to go visit her in November! I'm thinking early november, maybe even end of october! Then we are going to go to six flags! I've never been there, it would be so much fun!! :)
Anyways, I've been a mess... I'll probably be a mess every time I listen to the CD Steph made me! Kinda her going away present to me... it has some of our best songs on it! I absolutely love her!! But ya... Chris has been such a support, such a sweetheart through all this. He is the greatest boyfriend I could ever ask for! Probably the best boyfriend in the world! I just absolutely love him! Thanks Chris, you are the greatest!!

goodbye, but not the end

My best friend Steph is moving to DC tomorrow. Tonight is the last time I will be able to see her, until at least hopefully November. But still the fact that she is moving still sucks way bad! She has been by my side for the last 2 years, through the thick and the thin, through the good times and through the bad times. I think she is one of a very few select of friends who has remained my friend no matter what has happened in either of our lives. There are only maybe, 3 ppl in my life that I consider my very bestest friends who I can count on 99.9% of the time, and she is one of them. Maybe because we are more alike then any of my other friends I have had or have. We have had some of the same struggles, we have had some of the same trials but we have also have the same values, we want the same out come of our lives. She has been one of my guardian angels the last 2 years, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today if she wasn't there to help me along the way. She has become a part of my life, a part of my soul, a part of my family. She's not only a friend I can laugh with, she is a sister I can cry to, a confidant that I can go to and tell anything to. She keeps my secrets, she carries me when I'm not strong and she makes me laugh no matter what is going on. I can't even express how much her friendship means to me. She has been an example to me from the very beginning of our friendship. She may not think so, and I've heard her tell me plenty of times that she doesn't feel that way, but she is. She helps keep me afloat most the time. Now of course we've had our moments where we haven't agreed on things, or we've fought. But thats what makes our friendship stronger then any others... we are honest with each other and we can talk to each other. Therefore we are able to work through our differences and become closer friends. We have had so many fun times together! Times that only we will remember... times that we may not want to remember... times that will never be forgotten. From our many road trips to vegas, to our random adventures we've had so many. Going boating with Cousin Matt, the Anderson Swing, Provo River, hiking Ensign Peak, Camp Fires, Catting, Sushi nights, watching BMX, sitting at the skate park, trips to Ogden, talking about math, sending pictures of funny looking people, going to church together every sunday! Going to Kappa, 5 mile pass, our many adventures at Eric and Jay Woos, Volleyball tournaments and games, swimming, St George, In-N-Out Burger, Marie's, The Strip, getting you to wear my colored tops! Halloween, New Years, Your Birthday, My Birthday, our Tuesday night movies, the love of your popcorn, DDR, American Idol, being able to count on my best friend 100% I definitely hate that Stephie is moving to DC, and that she'll be gone for 5 months. But I know without a doubt that this will be the best move for her. And as much as I want her to stay, and as much as I am going to miss her I support her 100% in this decision. Stephie... you are such an amazing person, I love you more then you know. Again your friendship means more to me then you will ever know. You have been one of the greatest things to ever come into my life, and I will never forget that! You have been there for me through it all, and I am more then greatful for that. I will miss you! This is goodbye for now, but not forever! I will see you soon!!
